Welcome to our virtual support group meetings for mothers in grief who have lost a child to substance use. Our support groups provide a safe and compassionate space for sharing experiences, finding comfort, and receiving support from others who understand the unique challenges of grieving a child lost to substance use.

We kindly ask all participants to note that prior to joining the meeting, a 24-hour notice is appreciated. This allows us to ensure smooth facilitation of the session and make necessary arrangements. Your cooperation is highly valued.

Our Zoom Virtual Meetings are hosted weekly on Mondays from 6:30pm to 7:30pm PST.
The room will be closed during off-hours outside of the scheduled meetings. We look forward to welcoming you during our next session!
Please note: that while our support group offers a safe and supportive environment for mothers to share their experiences, we are not licensed therapists or mental health professionals. If you feel that you require one-on-one professional assistance or counseling, we encourage you to seek help from a qualified therapist or counselor. Our support group is intended to complement, not replace, professional mental health care. Your well-being is our priority, and we want to ensure that you receive the appropriate support tailored to your needs. Thank you for your understanding.

Meeting Guidelines:
- Respect confidentiality and privacy of all participants.
- Listen attentively and offer support without judgment.
- Allow each participant the opportunity to share their thoughts and feelings.
- Keep discussions focused on support and healing.
- Refrain from sharing personal information or identifying details outside of the meeting.

Pamela Smith
Public Speaker on the Fentanyl Epidemic and Opioid Crisis.
As the Opioid and Fentanyl epidemic continues to scourge our communities, there are too many lives that are cut short because of tragic overdoses. Pamela Smith, Founder & Executive Director of Mothers In Grief Support Group, lost her son, Jackson at the age of 22, to a Fentanyl poisoning in 2016, and she has since become an advocate in educating the public on the dangers of Fentanyl, in order to effect change.
